Caffeinated Scientist

I am just an ordinary girl with a crazy passion for biotechnology who loves to spread positivity all around. If you follow my on instagram I go by the handle caffeinatedscientist_

For the longest time in my life, people have considered me as a big nerd and I did not see people with similar interests like me. I thought maybe it was only me. Well, that is when I stumbled upon the Instagram community called the “studygrammers”. I was elated as I found people who actually enjoyed studying, making notes and even be crazy about stationary.. :P. I did not have to hide the fact that I love studying (which my friends shunned upon in a friendly manner though).

I completed my masters in Biotechnology and spent my time in lab for the vast majority of the day. I love observing the microscopic breathing organisms dwelling besides us and work on cell lines. In my free time, I am an avid reader and love reading murder mysteries & crime thrillers. I love singing and learning new languages.

LASTLY, I am a caffeine addict and love having strong black coffee without fail every morning.

WHY I STARTED THE INSTAGRAM CHANNEL & BLOG?

Being an asian kid, I never got to study with a passion and interest but I was rather taught to mug up studies. As a post graduate student, I realize how much erroneous this method of teaching was. Studying can be fun and I wanted to make this idea reach out to  the students. So, I decided to start my own page on instagram and this blog post to keep inspiring all the budding students…
