From the clear blue skies to the star studded nights with not a speck of dust or pollution, this lockdown has done wonders to our Mother nature. The beauty of the Earth which was lost amidst the hustle bustle, pollution, traffic and heavy industrialization is slowly returning back to its former glory. Let us explore the world a bit.

1. VENICE

The waters in the canals of Venice have cleared up and the fishes which dwelled there can be seen again.

2. INDIA

The water of the Holy river- Ganges has been declared “fit for drinking” in Haridwar after ages.

Delhi which is known for its notorious air pollution has cleared up drastically and the stark difference can be viewed in the image below.

3.LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles which is also known for its air pollution and infamous smog has cleared up drastically as people went under lockdown. Dont believe it? Here you go!

4. JAPAN

Animals have started to come out on the deserted streets and wander in Japan. It is not only in Japan but in different parts of the world. We will come to that.

ANIMALS ROAM AROUND IN THE STREETS OF DIFFERENT OF PLACES AROUND THE WORLD AS HUMANS STAY LOCKED UP INSIDE THEIR HOMES. LOOKS LIKE THE TABLES HAVE CHANGED!

And we thought we, humans were making Earth a better place for the future generations to come! Definitely not! Can we stress now on the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly methods? I guess now we have realized that we are in fact destroying the Earth, stripping it of its beauty. We take everything for granted and are never grateful for the things we have got from Mother Nature. It is indeed true that we are the virus! We have wounded the nature and now it is healing when humans are captivated in the confines of our homes.

Let us appreciate this beautiful Earth, pledge to make it a better place and inculcate methods which would be eco-friendly.
